As an Electronic Engineer, you will play an important role in analyzing and evaluating critical power electronics components, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. In this position, you will work closely with a lead Power Electronics Engineer, providing technical expertise in areas such as power semiconductors, PCB analysis, and compliance testing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of high-performance EV charging products, with occasional travel to support manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis and evaluation of key power electronics components, including power semiconductors, magnetics, and capacitors.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide technical recommendations.
  • Evaluate system-level electrical performance and identify root causes of potential issues.
  • Characterize power semiconductor devices and analyze their performance for optimization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in power electronics preferred, and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and evaluating high-voltage PCBs and power converters.
  • Understanding of power semiconductor switches and diodes, including their characteristics.
  • Experience in EMI/EMC design, testing, and optimization for power electronics products.
  • Proficiency in working in a lab environment with high-voltage systems and familiarity with UL/CE certification processes.
