Job description

Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) Wanted

We at Gotham Enterprises LTD are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide compassionate care to children, teens, and families dealing with trauma and abuse. Our practice offers a wide range of programs, from outpatient to residential, centered on emotional, behavioral, and developmental recovery.

Compensation: $110,000 to $130, 000 per year with benefits

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides counseling and crisis intervention services, including the assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral issues in patients.
  • Collaborates with family members and/or the support system on treatment plans and discharge planning.
  • Communicates patient progress, concerns, and potential issues to physicians.
  • Ensures timely and accurate documentation, including clinical and progress notes, as per department policy.
  • Works with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans, including discharge plans, based on psychosocial assessments and recognized social work interventions.

Requirements

● Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling from an accredited program.

● Current license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to practice in the state of employment.

● Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred.

● Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and best practices.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

● Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and related technology.
