Cigna are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team in the UK.
The successful Marketing Manager will be responsible for marketing communications for assigned areas. Leads marketing programs, initiatives, promotions, or research projects. Executes communications plans for assigned areas (audiences, positioning, messages, timing and metrics). Assists in the development of marketing communications tactics. This may include developing creative briefs, production schedules, and budget estimates. Works closely with key areas in developing and implementing marketing approaches, e.g., product development. Works with print production to ensure most cost-effective methods. May lead cross-unit projects and initiatives with copywriters, designers, and illustrators. Secures final sign-off from subject matter experts, project owners, and legal.
Duties:
- Working with Marketing Lead for Europe, you will be accountable for the development and performance of marketing activity and campaigns as directed eg . Brand, product, direct performance to customers campaigns and sales collateral support to address specific business objectives
- Working with our digital media agency partner to deliver a robust direct approach across SEO strategy and actionable plan to drive paid and organic growth.
- Delegate guardian for the GHB website to ensure our biggest brand asset maximises leads and conversion.
- Make sure that all planned projects and all deadlines are mapped out and communicated.
- End to end delivery of campaigns, leading the definition of the marketing brief including the responsibility for the total campaign budget, objectives, message hierarchy, creative execution, all the way through to delivery of the campaign itself being on time and on budget.
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally by working collaboratively, to leverage expertise and help shape / deliver the campaign strategies.
- You will create and execute initiatives / campaigns that maximise conversion, including nurture journeys.
- Ensure each media plan is fully evaluated, and objectives are clear and delivered. Trial & review new media channels.
- Working with relevant colleagues, plan, forecast and report against campaign budgets and overall performance. Manage budget for each campaign to maximise return on investment. Ensure all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
- Input into the annual marketing planning process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging marketing technologies, and share knowledge and insights with relevant stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Work within our appropriate risk and compliance framework.
- Supporting the overall team during PTO and at peak times
About You
- You will have a thorough understanding of and a passion for marketing, championing the most effective and innovative marketing practice to meet and exceed objectives set.
- 5+ years of marketing communications experience
- Experience managing campaigns, with some experience across paid media and owned channels.
- Proven experience of working with creative/media agency partners and in-house teams to deliver campaigns.
- Deep knowledge in marketing to drive brand awareness and leads, ideally within financial services or insurance sector.
- International marketing experience.
- Ideally Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter and ability to work on own projects as well as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness with accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Ability to present and communicate with confidence at all levels.
- Experience and skill operating in a matrix organisation.
- IT skills – excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages.
