About the role:
The Senior Treasury Analyst will be part of the Treasury team and will work closely with the IAS Treasury Analysts on a daily basis, as needed. This position will primarily be engaged in daily tasks related to treasury research, problem resolution, unclaimed property monitoring/reporting, daily/monthly reporting, and assist with other Global Treasury activities, such as FX risk management and global liquidity monitoring/forecasting. This position will participate in continuous process improvement/automation projects, ensuring the most efficient processes are followed as financial and Treasury systems evolve. The Sr. Treasury Analyst will work closely with all members of the Treasury team, IAS/Accounting, as well as other departments throughout the organization. This position will provide cross-training, mentoring and coaching colleagues, providing guidance as needed. Normal working hours for this position is 9am to 6pm local time, Monday through Friday.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with overall unclaimed property process oversight. Responsible for monitoring escheat liability accounts including periodic review of balances to ensure escheated funds are booked properly, support reclass of LT to ST for balances being reported within 1 year, and ensuring balances reconcile to the unclaimed property portal. Responsible for completing required documentation to collect unclaimed property due to Labcorp and its subsidiaries. Other tasks as assigned.
Responsible for daily/month-end analysis and various reporting and reconciliation requirements, including review of Corporate Treasury policies and procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements.
Prepare, maintain, and analyze global reports related to outstanding forward contracts including mark to market (“MTM” reporting) and reconciliations.
Assist with various treasury team members related to tasks such as problem resolution, research, reports, and projects, as needed.
Assist with monitoring and maintaining data in the treasury workstation (Kyriba) and assist with global cash forecasting, FX risk mitigation, intercompany funding, and settlement processes among foreign subsidiaries,
Prepare and/or process treasury payments and transfers and/or approval/release of these transfers and cross train employees related to existing job responsibilities.
Education:
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years related Treasury, Finance, or Accounting experience
General knowledge/experience with Treasury Management Systems and banking portals
Experience achieving high level, sustainable performance and results, utilizing logic and insight to solve difficult problems and propose effective solutions
Experience responding to change, ambiguity, and successfully managing conflicting priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skillset; understanding of banking portals preferred
