Currently, we are seeking a Python Backend Engineer to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:

Position Title: Python Backend Engineer

Location: LATAM

What You Will Be Doing

Develop and maintain backend solutions with a core focus on API integrations, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Implement and manage RPA automation projects using Selenium to enhance operational capabilities.
Manage and resolve assigned tickets promptly, providing daily updates on progress and challenges.
Actively participate in daily standup meetings to ensure alignment with team objectives and priorities.
Apply advanced Python and Django skills to tackle complex tasks in large-scale application development.
Utilize strong experience with PostgreSQL to support data management requirements efficiently.
Work independently while maintaining effective communication with team leaders regarding project progress.
Show a foundational understanding of Google Cloud Platform services as an asset to projects.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s or higher in Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or another quantitative field preferred; advanced degrees are a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenges in data integration and API connections efficiently.
Advanced proficiency in Python, with experience in large-scale applications and API integrations
Strong command of Django web framework
Intermediate expertise in PostgreSQL for database management
Demonstrated experience with system integration technologies, including creating, testing, and managing API connections
Intermediate skill in implementing RPA automation using Selenium
Ability to work autonomously with daily progress updates and manage ticket ownership effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in data integration and API connection challenges
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services is advantageous
