Job description

Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Energy & Resources, Infrastructure and Property sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.

Our Energy and Resources Division works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas projects across the country. These include upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas above ground processing facilities, as well as integrity, maintenance and construction related work programs.

About You:

We are looking for a qualified Project Scheduler will be an integral part of our project management team, responsible for creating, maintaining, and tracking project schedules to ensure successful project delivery. The role will be based in the Philippines, working for an Australian company. The successful candidate will be hired by our partner agency in the Philippines.

Skills/experience required for the role:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera, Microsoft Excel, and Visual Basic (VBA) to handle complex scheduling and data analysis tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project for managing project timelines and ensuring integration with overall project management strategies.
  • Power BI experience for building data-driven reports and visualizations that provide insights into project performance (desirable).
  • A solid understanding of project control principles, including scope, cost, and quality management, as well as Earned Value Management (EVM) for project performance tracking.
  • Experience in engineering, energy, oil, and gas sectors preferred, though not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues early and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the project.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with project managers to create, maintain, and manage project schedules, ensuring activities and deliverables are met within required timeframes.
  • Liaise with the design team to coordinate project deliverables and timelines.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective scheduling management system.
  • Identify potential delays and propose timely interventions to keep the project on track.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of project timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Accommodate updates and changes to project schedules based on scope or resource adjustments.
  • Document scheduling processes and maintain detailed project scheduling records.
  • Ensure schedules are fully aligned with resource usage profiles.
