QA Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Python to ensure software quality.
• Perform thorough API testing to validate functionality, security, and performance of healthcare applications.
• Test healthcare claims workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards and accuracy in data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Use tools such as Jira for defect tracking and test management.
• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing.
• Debug and analyze test results to identify root causes of issues and verify fixes.
• Maintain version control for test scripts and automation frameworks using GitHub.
• Stay up to date with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and best practices relevant to healthcare domain.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in automation testing, with strong proficiency in Selenium and Python.
• Solid understanding of API testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured).
• Hands-on experience in healthcare claims testing or other healthcare-related applications.
• Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies and defect tracking using Jira.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Healthcare Claims Knowledge: EDI standards, HIPAA compliance, claims processing workflows
• Test Management & Defect Tracking: Jira

• Additional Skills (Preferred): SQL for database validations (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

Preferred Attributes:
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly in claims processing.
• Experience in testing healthcare integrations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Certifications in testing methodologies (e.g., ISTQB) or healthcare standards are a plus.
