About the Role

As an Administrative Assistant you will be directly reporting to the Australian-based Office Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently managing data entry, payment processing, and administrative tasks while supporting project operations through accurate quotes, takeoffs, and cost estimations. Additionally, to contribute to recruitment efforts by conducting applicant screenings and ensuring smooth day-to-day operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update data into systems or databases.
  • Manage and process payments efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with quotes and takeoffs, and support the preparation of cost estimates and material takeoffs for projects.
  • Conduct recruitment calls to screen applicants based on a provided set of questions.
  • Handle various administrative duties to support day-to-day operations

Position Prerequisites
 

  • At least 3-5  years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity and good understanding with Excel and PDF
  • Estimating/Administration experience in construction is ideal.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral (English).
  • Good reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Reliable, consistent, and able to follow instructions.
  • Intelligent, learn from mistakes, competent.
