Job description

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a System Administrator II to support our work with a federal client. This is a REMOTE role with occasional on-site work in Washington DC and other regional offices and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

Candidates aren't required to have an Security Clearance, but background check is mandatory due to handling PII/CUI data.

In this role you will:

Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft infrastructure including Active Directory Hybrid environment, Entra-ID, Azure, Intune and AutoPilot
Provide daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and modernization of legacy Microsoft application servers, network, and authentication servers
Support IT Operations by managing secure and efficient configuration, deployment, and management of laptops, mobile devices, applications
Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 cloud applications
Provide after-hours emergency outage support as needed
Create and maintain change control records and system documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have:

Minimum 5 years of IT experience with 3+ years specialized experience in:
- Microsoft Intune implementation and management
- Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or other relevant Microsoft certifications
- Azure/o365 ecosystem administration
- Windows Autopilot and device provisioning
- Active Directory and ADFS administration
- Mobile device management through Intune
- Exchange and Office 365 administration
- DNS/DHCP server administration

Preferred Skills:

MCSE and/or MCSA certification
Experience supporting Federal clients/programs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with Linux administration

Education:

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field required
Bachelor's degree preferred (reduces experience requirement to 4 years with 2 specialized)
With 8 years experience (6 specialized), degree requirement can be waived
