Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:


Contract: Independent Contractor

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and format job descriptions using ChatGPT and government templates

  • Manage and organize multiple email inboxes, responding to correspondence as needed

  • Assist with bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks

  • Plan and coordinate travel arrangements

  • Support basic website maintenance and updates

  • Conduct research for various projects and holiday planning

  • Handle data entry and maintain Excel spreadsheets

  • Assist with report writing and document preparation

  • Assist in researching, drafting and formatting high level policies, SOP's, many HR related

  • Assist in creating workflow charts and diagrams for employee SOPs

  • Assist and coordinate other duties such as travel and holiday planning

  • Assist in basic accounting and expenditure tracking

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using ChatGPT and other AI tools for content generation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Experience with email management and calendar scheduling

  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and financial record-keeping

  • Familiarity with website maintenance and content management systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Scope:

  • Assist in managing a workload of approximately 80 job descriptions, with potential for expansion

  • Support communication with government officials and international organizations

  • Contribute to the restructuring efforts of provincial government departments

  • Aid in the potential development of new botanical gardens and cultural park projects

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and diverse project needs

  • Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with 1 hour unpaid lunch break

  • After probation period it will be flexible as long as 40 hours per week are met
