Job description

This is a remote position.

Part-time (20 hours a week)

Flexible. Mon-Fri
Operating hours are 8am-4:30pm PST ( 11PM - 7:30AM Manila Time)
 , but long as we have a couple hours of crossover at some point in the day

As a Senior WordPress Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of creating cutting-edge, custom WordPress solutions for a diverse North American client base. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, large-scale projects that go beyond typical WordPress implementations. You’ll be crafting custom blocks, developing advanced functionalities, and contributing to white-label projects that demand creativity and technical expertise. Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop custom WordPress blocks that push the boundaries of traditional site building
  • Contribute to large-scale, complex WordPress projects for high-profile clients
  • Implement high-performance, optimized WordPress solutions that prioritize speed and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the team on white-label projects, ensuring seamless integration with client systems
  • Tackle complicated aspects of custom software development projects
  • Provide technical insights and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and best practices to maintain cutting-edge development standards

Requirements
  • Proven track record in advanced WordPress development, with a portfolio showcasing custom solutions
  • Expert-level skills in PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress core functionalities
  • Demonstrated experience in building and optimizing custom WordPress blocks
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress performance optimization techniques and best practices
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently on complex tasks while collaborating effectively with a remote team
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to align with North American time zones (Pacific Time)

  • Experience with CakePHP is required
