Senior Graphic Designer – Presentation Design Specialist

Job purpose:

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer specializing in presentation design, with advanced expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.  In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on presentations tailored for high-level executives, event speakers, and internal teams, translating complex ideas into visuals that drive engagement and clarity.

As a key member of our creative team, you will take the lead in designing master deck templates and crafting custom presentations that are both visually compelling and strategically aligned with business objectives. This role demands a sharp eye for detail, a talent for storytelling through design, and the versatility to adapt visuals to meet the needs of diverse audiences.

Job details: 

• Location: 100% Remote– Open to candidates based in Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Central America Time Zone).
• Contract: Full-Time Professional Services Agreement.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Spanish: Native.
  • English: Advanced (C1+ level in reading, writing, and conversation).

Key Responsibilities:

• Presentation Design Expertise: 
  • Create polished and visually impactful presentations in Keynote and PowerPoint that align with brand guidelines and business goals.
  • Use advanced PowerPoint skills to create polished, professional presentations from scratch, incorporating layout, typography, and storytelling to support clear messaging.
  • Develop master deck templates for corporate clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality visual standards. 
• Enhance Existing Slides: Refine and elevate current presentations with precise edits, updated visuals, and brand-aligned layouts that reinforce the client’s objectives.
• Visual Storytelling for High-Level Audiences: Design presentations tailored to specific audiences, including senior executives, event speakers, and internal teams, to ensure they are engaging, impactful, and effective. 
• Brand Consistency and Quality Control: Apply brand standards meticulously across all visual materials, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and high-quality output.
• Client Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, designers, and clients to clarify project requirements, provide creative input, and ensure timely, high-quality results.
• Secondary Responsibilities – Additional Creative Support:
  • Graphic Design and Visual Asset Creation: Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to develop supplementary graphics, templates, and custom visuals as needed for presentations and other client materials.
  • Multimedia Support: Occasionally support the design of infographics, print assets, digital content, and other visual deliverables, contributing to a cohesive visual experience across channels.
  • MS Office and Adobe Suite Collaboration: Assist with formatting in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and collaborate on projects using Adobe Creative Suite, especially for graphics and layouts.
• Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to elevate the quality and relevance of all projects.

Required Academic Background:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience is also accepted.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in visual presentation design, graphic design, or a similar role, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates advanced PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
• Technical Skills:
  • Must-Have: Advanced PowerPoint expertise, including design, animation, and productivity shortcuts.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator and Photoshop, to create professional, polished visuals.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office for document support.
  • Understanding of digital and print design principles, ensuring high-quality execution across platforms.
• Nice to Have Skills: Proficiency in Keynote, and additional PPT productivity tools (ThinkCell, Efficient Elements) is highly desirable.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to layout, alignment, and brand consistency, ensuring quality across all visual materials.
• Collaborative and Adaptable: Proven ability to work effectively within a team and independently, managing multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Clear and Professional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and clients.
