Summary of Job Duties:
Reporting to the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine (DFPM), Research and Evaluation Division Assistant Director, the Research Associate III will initiate evaluation protocols, develop data collection methods and systems, manage grant deliverables, and provide program evaluation for research projects and grants. The Research Associate III should be an expert in evaluation methods, program outcomes data analysis, and data collection tools to facilitate effective program design, execution of project deliverables, and evaluation methods used to determine outcomes. The candidate should be experienced in social science research. This position will be responsible for key deliverables and measuring activity effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a social sciences field such as social work, education, psychology, or statistics plus seven (7) years of social science research experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, SPSS, Power BI, and REDCap database design.
Must have a strong understanding of social science evaluation methods and data collection.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced years of experience.
Skilled in SQL, SPSS, SAS, Microsoft Power BI, database management, and survey writing.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and implementing quantitative research program evaluation protocols. This will include both design and analysis.
Assist faculty in grant and contract reporting.
Responsible for the successful accomplishment of project outcomes following the established protocol.
Create project timelines, strategies for data collection, and processes for the execution of deliverables.
Supervise 1-2 junior staff members.
Ensure compliance within the division of UAMS policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
