THE JOB:
The primary responsibility of the Talent Acquisition Partner is to support the department by performing a variety of duties, including assisting in the sourcing, screening, and evaluation of applicants to ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates for employment with MGM Resorts International based on specific established criteria. The Talent Acquisition Partner will also serve as a consultant to the business, offering insights and recommendations to improve hiring strategies.


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Identify and source quality talent, manage recruitment pipelines, execute recruitment marketing strategies, and focus on engaging passive candidates in the marketplace.

  • Offer consultation to shape sourcing strategies and hiring decisions by leveraging internal dashboards, reports, and competitor and labor market analyses.

  • Provide personalized and credible interactions, discussing job previews, and helping candidates by providing meaningful and actionable feedback.

  • Comprehend leaders' business objectives, goals, challenges, and opportunities to enhance decision-making aligned with business and overall talent strategies

  • Deliver solutions to the business by sharing recommendations and influencing decision-making through data and trust.

  • Professionally represents the MGM Resorts International at local and regional job fairs, conventions and conferences and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.

  • Build relationships with company leadership to gain insight on operations and to understand the functions of all positions within each department.

  • Stay current on Federal and State employment and immigration laws and governing regulations.

  • Utilize creative and non-traditional recruitment strategies to help build an experienced, skilled, and diverse talent pool.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years of prior relevant experience in recruitment/staffing, involving candidate sourcing, interviewing, evaluation and placement.
