Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Customer Quality Manager (Automotive) located in Zalaegerszeg.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Customer Quality Manager role involves the responsibility for developing, implementing and coordinating the product assurance program to prevent or eliminate quality defects in respect of the designated automotive projects. Additionally, they work closely with the Customer Focus Team (CFT) and customers to ensure the quality assurance and control of the automotive products and the related processes.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead and coach the Quality Assurance Team
  • Direct interface with customers on technical/ quality issues and improvement initiatives
  • Conduct management meetings with product assurance program department heads to establish, delineate and review program organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives
  • Cooperate with other top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures and goals
  • Evaluate the production performance based on the targets
  • Develops initial and subsequent modifications of product assurance program to delineate areas of responsibility, personnel requirements and operational procedures within program
  • Responsible for managing customer audits and regulatory/ compliance agency audits
  • Investigation and identification of the system failures, critical control points and preventive measures
  • Analyse risk factors, monitor corrective actions and improvements

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in technical field)
  • Minimum 2 years of Team Leader experience in the field of Quality
  • Deep knowledge of Quality tools and automotive standards
  • Familiarity with mass production and assembly lines in a multinational environment
  • Fluent English and  Hungarian language skills
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
  • Excellent planning and organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
