Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Suzhou.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Product Engineer role involves…

What a typical day looks like:

• Provide technical support to Sales during new product introduction at customer site.
• Translating customer requirements in product solutions together with product designer.
• Leading Product Designers and Test Engineers within a project.
• Organizing and coordinating the smart actuators design, verification process and supporting the validation process at system level.
• Responsible for overall product design documentation.
• Issuing and following up on product development plans in consultation with the project master plan.
• Regular oral and written reporting regarding product status, product risks and planning.
• Participating in multidisciplinary product development teams as a point of contact regarding product management.
• If necessary, managing a co-development process with suppliers in consultation with SCM and SQE.
• Provide technical support to local operation during new product introduction in the plant.
• Lead Product Designer to analyze issues found in customer site and plant, conduct EC together with HQ if necessary.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Fluent in oral, reading and writing English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experiences of mechatronics product development.
• Experience with 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of and experience with the Automotive quality systems IATF 16949，ISO 14001 and ASPICE.
• Actuator with embedded firmware development experiences will be a plus
• Experience with electronics is an advantage.
• Experience with Creo software will be a plus.
• Experience with agile scrum (Jira software) will be a plus.
