Job Summary
A Data Centre Project and Program Management Senior Analyst is responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of data centre projects and programs. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards, while also providing strategic guidance and support to the organization's data centre initiatives.
 
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with different teams to create business cases and project plans using appropriate planning tools.
  • Manage stakeholders by identifying their requirements, proactively addressing their needs, and seeking feedback. Escalate complex stakeholder issues when necessary.
  • Determine and agree on the appropriate level of communication for the project/program, using consistent tools and templates.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues at an appropriate level for the project complexity and develop plans to mitigate them.
  • Take responsibility for delivering projects across multiple functional groups.
  • Develop resource and cost plans, track costs, and manage changes to plans. Address issues with external suppliers and contractors.
  • Manage complex customer deployments involving cross-functional teams, multiple sites, and regions. Create and communicate detailed project plans to customers, engage and direct internal stakeholders, and resolve issues independently.
 
Requirements
  • Proven years of experience in leading projects from start to finish, with a strong understanding of critical facilities infrastructure.
  • Diploma to a bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on relevant fields such as engineering or project management.
  • Mandatory CPMP Certification.
  • Strong written and spoken German and English skills, with a fast learning ability.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and creating presentations.
  • Effective negotiation, assertiveness, and flexibility.
  • Excellent reporting skills for stakeholders and relevant teams.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Quick comprehension and technical understanding of critical infrastructure, budgeting, and PPM.
