What Will You Do?:

Federated Insurance is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support our Property & Casualty operations. In this role you will be measuring operating results, projecting data using actuarial techniques, assessing financial soundness of plans to improve our existing products, and fulfill statutory and reporting requirements of state insurance departments and other outside agencies. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills who can compute and present technical information to different levels of the organization and works well in a collaborative and team environment. 

 

This position will start in May or June 2025 in our Owatonna, MN office. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree, preferable in Math or related subject
  • A minimum of one actuarial exam passed
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including: Excel, Word, and Outlook
