Frontend Developer - Contractor

Overview

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the user interfaces for Microdeb’s software applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Although your primary focus will be frontend coding, as part of the wider team you will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding, creating great user interfaces for our clients, and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications according to the requirements and design specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality products.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process, including identifying bottlenecks, proposing solutions, and implementing best practices.

Requirements

 - 3-5 years experience in software development.

·       Experience creating web and mobile interfaces using the Flutter framework.

·       Experience with modern web Javascript-based frameworks such as Typescript and React.

·       Strong knowledge of REST APIs and integrating them into the user presentation layer.

·       Willingness to be involved in other parts of the tech stack as and when necessary

Nice-to-have

·       Some experience working with ASP.NET applications, using C#.
