GoDaddy powers the world's largest platform dedicated to Web Designers and Developers (WDDs) who provide their clients with marketing services, including website building and maintenance. Play a pivotal role in crafting the future of GoDaddy’s premium Virtual Private Server (VPS) product. As a Senior Product Manager, you will have the outstanding opportunity to drive exceptional product strategy, customer experience, and flawless implementation. You will be part of an ambitious team dedicated to generating unparalleled value for our customers.
This role is essential for driving the future growth and vitality of our VPS products. You will lead all aspects of the product lifecycle, collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing, customer care, and technical operations. Your work will strictly determine the success of our VPS offerings.
What you'll get to do...
- Drive the overall product strategy, roadmap, and execution for the VPS product line at GoDaddy.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and understand the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and go-to-market, to deliver successful product launches and improvements.
- Define and prioritize features, improvements, and updates for VPS products based on customer feedback and data-driven insights.
- Monitor key performance metrics and regularly report on the success of the VPS product line.
- Stay up-to-date on standard methodologies and new technologies related to virtual private servers.
- Collaborate closely with team members to define and evolve product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for the VPS product line.
Your experience should include...
- 5+ years of digital product management experience
- Experience working within a hosting business.
- Proven ability to drive measurable customer value through data-backed product decisions based on growth, adoption, conversion, or similar metrics.
- Understanding and applying the scientific method, with practical experience in testing hypotheses, including A/B testing, multivariate testing (MVT), and pre-post analysis.
- Designing a long-term strategy and quarterly objectives and key results, with clear criteria for prioritizing and making trade-offs.
- Building a strong extended team across product, design, engineering, and other functional areas. Ability to lead large technical product scope with agile software development methodologies.
- Experience delivering complex releases regularly, working with multiple team members, and making appropriate trade-offs in situations that may be time-sensitive, ambiguous, and have competing priorities.
