The primary purpose of this role is to deliver strategic relationship management and technical support to our Allianz repair network to achieve competitive repair cost results and market leading customer service outcomes.

 

You'll be responsible for:

  • Take a leading role in managing the performance of smash repair facilities to obtain cost effective performance outcomes.
  • Identify market and industry trends, understanding and anticipating customer needs through business relationships and competitor analysis.
  • Evaluate and apply strategies to improve repairer performance using repair cost benchmarking, scorecards, and other reporting capabilities.
  • Utilise 5-star survey reporting, complaints, and other feedback to identify and apply opportunities for improved customer service.
  • Deliver onboarding of new smash repair facilities and support offboarding of smash repair facilities not meeting required performance standards.

 

About you:

  • Trade qualification and significant post apprenticeship experience in their profession as a panel beater, spray painter, motor mechanic or significant experience as a Motor Insurance Assessor.
  • A valid driver’s licence for the related state or territory.
  • Current and practical knowledge in the Smash Repair industry with a broad understanding of different repair techniques, materials, finishes, equipment and required repair standards and a sound understanding of the Motor Vehicle Insurer and Repair Industry Code of Conduct.
  • Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning and drive business performance outcomes.
  • Ability to identify potential issues, evaluate information, exercise judgement, and deliver effective customer focussed solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
