The Company

Our client is redefining how people explore web3 with their all-in-one wallet for everything on-chain. Known for being the safest and easiest way to navigate the decentralized world, they're making web3 accessible to everyone. 

The Role

You'll be at the heart of shaping and organizing the engineering team. Your mission is to establish efficient processes, foster a supportive and productive environment, and focus on the personal growth and success of each team member. By helping the team unlock its full potential, you'll play a critical role in driving success.

This is an exciting chance to influence the culture of a pre-growth stage startup. Youll lead a cross-functional engineering team and collaborate closely with Leadership and Product Management to define impactful metrics, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a distributed team of cross-functional engineers
  • Establish and uphold best practices to deliver high-quality products and ensure timely, consistent system deployments
  • Design, implement, and document processes for product development, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with Leadership and Product Management to drive roadmapping, technical planning, and prioritization
  • Foster engineers growth through regular 1:1s, coaching, actionable feedback, peer alignment, and career support
  • Oversee and evaluate engineers performance to ensure continuous improvement and success
  • Strengthen and maintain a culture of growth, openness, trust, support, and care
  • Onboard new talent to expand the team

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience managing and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced startups or early-stage companies
  • Strong technical knowledge, with 4+ years in back-end development (Python/Golang preferred) and 2+ years in Engineering Management
  • Passion for Web3, open financial systems, and scaling distributed systems at scale
  • Skilled in attracting, mentoring, and retaining top talent, fostering efficient engineering processes, and driving continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on planning in a fully remote, distributed team
  • Enthusiasm for building high-quality products with exceptional user experience, performance, and security standards
  • Bonus: Founder experience, NFT/token trading, or working in rapidly changing industries requiring constant experimentation and learning
  • Based in European time zones
