The Global Strategic Events team at Coupa is looking for an experienced B2B event manager to support across our events portfolio including the management of Coupa-hosted roadshows such as the Inspire World Tour and Executive Summits series, executive, community, third party roadshows and internal events.
The Event Manager will be supported by the Director, Global Strategic Events, you will have the opportunity to contribute, collaborate, and learn from seasoned event leaders within the Global Strategic Events Team to execute across events.
Note that this is a contract until June 2025

What you will do:Plan, organise, and execute Coupa’s strategic events and third party tradeshows. Create and manage project plans, timelines, and task assignments using Asana to ensure effective coordination and collaboration among team members.Manage logistics within our roadshow series including keynote, breakout and sponsor AV, F&B, venue set up needs, onsite signage, onsite registration. Point of contact for roadshow series sponsors and manage all sponsor deliverables. Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and coordinate all event-related logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and transportation if necessary.Attribute leads, pipeline, and revenue directly to measure the ROI of your programs and communicate results to the team and company.Create event specifications, promotion plans, and budgets for each event, and conduct post-event spend and overall analysis.Work closely with other teams within Coupa for staffing and management of demo presences, speaker coordination and ensure proper lead capture and follow-up processes are in place at third party events. Work closely with the creative team to develop event collateral, signage, and other promotional materials.Analyse event metrics and provide post-event reports, including ROI analysis and recommendations for improvement.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in events and tradeshows to continuously improve event planning and execution.Identify and explore opportunities for co-marketing campaigns with partners.What you will bring to Coupa: First and foremost, a can-do attitudeExperience in event management, preferably in a B2B marketing environment.Ability to present and lead in event team meetingsStrong project management skills, knowledge of Asana is a plus. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Proven ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors.Proficiency in Google suite and event management platforms such as Cvent.Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) is a plus.Second language would be advantageous but not mandatory #LI-Remote
