Position Title: Shopify Web Developer
Work Set-up: Work from Home/Work Onsite
Salary: Php 50,000.00 – Php 60,000.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM PH Time

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A SHOPIFY WEB DEVELOPER
Responsibilities as a Shopify Web Developer:
• Design, develop, and implement responsive Shopify websites and e-commerce solutions
• Customize and optimize existing Shopify themes to meet client requirements and improve user experience
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Implement best practices for SEO, site performance, and security
• Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, and APIs to enhance store functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, functionality, and user experience
• Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure the website is functioning smoothly across different devices and browsers
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Shopify stores, including updates, backups, and troubleshooting
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in e-commerce, web development, and Shopify platform updates
Qualifications as a Shopify Web Developer:
• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not required based on experience)
• 2-4 years of experience in Shopify web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language)
• Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Knowledge of Shopify APIs and experience integrating third-party applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
