The Individual Markets (IM) senior content producer creates content to help build Guardian’s brand reputation, differentiate Guardian in the marketplace, and drive increased leads and sales activity for Guardian’s IM business. This position on the Enterprise Content team will contribute to the successful planning, development, and production of IM content, including thought leadership reports, briefs, articles, presentations, etc., targeting consumer audiences (individual policyowners and prospects), and distribution partners (Guardian Financial Professionals, General Agencies, etc.). The IM sr. content producer will collaborate with colleagues across a range of functional areas within Enterprise Marketing, IM Marketing and in the IM business. The position will also work closely with our earned media and internal communications teams.

- Exceptional writing and content production skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop, lead and execute project management plans
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and communicate compelling insights, implications and/or opportunities for marketing and business teams
- Communication skills – must demonstrate very effective written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized and a strategic thinker
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas
- Bachelor’s degree
- MBA preferred, but not required
- 8 plus years of product marketing experience with a record of achieving results.
- Experience in B2B, B2B2C and B2C marketing or marketing in a complex selling channel preferred
- Demonstrated success working in a matrix organization as an individual contributor
- Agency relationship management, as well as freelance resources
You will:
- Contribute to the development and execution thought leadership content to support the IM marketing and business teams.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and external agencies in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables and overseeing timely execution (e.g., research, reports, articles, infographics, videos, events).
- Atomize foundational content (research, white papers, webinars, interviews) to create a range of related assets to support a marketing campaign (articles, videos, social posts, infographics, etc.).
- Collect and analyze content performance insights from Marketing and Corporate Communications and identify appropriate action steps.
- Coordinate with colleagues, industry organizations, and external subject matter experts on content marketing opportunities and events.
- Create and manage content for consumer-facing pages on guardianlife.com, and work with SEO/Social and Paid media teams to support integrated brand and IM marketing campaigns.

Salary Range
$101,180.00 - $166,220.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
