Location: The ideal candidate will be located in the greater Houston area for a hybrid work schedule but we are open to remote workers if well qualified.

Position Summary

  • Support the G&A leaders and their organizations to achieve business objectives by providing financial planning and analysis.

  • Planning for $165M+ spend.

  • Provide leadership and coordination of planning, control, and budget management functions and subsidiaries.

  • Support Executive Leaders with the proper business partnership including advice and spending opportunities/downsides.

  • Present key financial performance to CEO and CFO.

  • Partnering with key departments outside Finance such as HR, IT, Legal and Compliance.

  • Ensure that in G&A Finance procedures are conformed to Corporate guidelines and General accounting principles.

  • Manage and coordinate one resource solid line and multiple dotted line.

  • Be part of multi-functional project teams.

  • Support FP&A Corporate team with analysis and commentary, insights and processes coordination.

  • Provide support documentation and analysis on Strat Plan on a yearly basis.

Essential Job Functions

Strategy and Business Formulation:

  • Understand business drivers through the use of KPIs and financial analysis to support and manage business performance.

  • Participate in strategy formulation

  • Advice G&A leaders with potential actions to manage their spending both for the short and the long-term.


Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Manage & Support all G&A managerial reporting, ensuring control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of figures, analysis and comments

  • Direct, supervise and coordinate G&A financial planning, controlling and rolling forecast functions

  • Approve spending

  • Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly and yearly operating results against budget

  • Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts. 

  • Work with department managers and Corporate staff to develop short, mid and long term business plans for the company

  • Coordinate cost saving initiatives

  • Ensure compliance in terms of procedures and internal controls across the business.

Organization & Communication

  • Act as Business Finance contact for G&A leaders

  • Communicate, discuss and challenge financial impacts with G&A leaders

  • Prepare and present during meetings/reviews where financial input/commentary is required/requested

  • Own, manage and complete financial information requests from Corporate

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required - ideally in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or closely related field

  • Master's Degree preferred

Experience

  • Ten years of experience in FP&A, working for a worldwide company is preferred.

  • Experience in a senior-level finance is preferred

Pay Transparency

  • A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $112,500 - $187,500 + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
