Job description

Sales Manager Oncology Japan

The Sales Manager will lead Regeneron Japan’s Oncology field sales team across all therapies. They will ensure excellent execution of Regeneron’s commercial strategies, create and embed a high-performance team culture aligned with the company’s vision and values. This position will report directly to the Country Manager Oncology Japan.

A typical day might include:

  • Lead the performance of the Japan Oncology Field Sales Team through appropriate leadership and coaching.
  • Lead team with appropriate and relevant feedback, coaching training interventions, development planning and talent management.
  • Identify the best methodology and share these with the team.
  • Expand Regeneron reputation and relationships with Key HCPs.
  • Responsibility for the team attaining high levels of product, competitor therapy & environmental knowledge to maximise the commercial opportunities.
  • Provide input into National & Local Account plans, ensuring plans are operationalized with clear tactical plans assigned to each team member.
  • Work synergistically with commercial operations to monitor/track Key Performance Indicators to achieve revenue and contribution targets for the region and act to course correct when required.
  • Ensure sales targets and profits are met through effective management and deployment of resources.
  • Act in accordance with the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice and Regeneron SOP’s.

The role might be for you if:

  • Experienced sales leader with proven success and positive track record of sales performance with a high degree of integrity and ethical standards (10+ years overall pharma experience; 5+ years sales manager experience is preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with high influence.
  • Excellent planning and operation skills with hands-on experiences.
  • Flexible mindset to work effectively and adapt in rapidly changing environments.
  • Previous 1st Line Management experience, with strong ability to lead & coach sales team.
  • Oncology/ Immuno-Oncology/ biologic experience preferred.
  • Fluent Japanese speaker. Intermediate level English language skills (Reading and Written) and advantage but not essential.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
