Job description

Title:

Specialist- Planning & Scheduling

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding scope of work and developing project schedule
  • Loading the resource and allocating the work hours as per the approved budget
  • Ensures the development of job progress monitoring system through scheduling
  • Duties may include monitoring job progress according to schedules, coordinating with departmental leads, participating in weekly review meetings, and performing schedule analysis.
  • Provides priorities for projects to guarantee on time completion.
  • Issuing weekly lookaheads and manhour reports to Project team.
  • Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within project controls.
  • Displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
  • Projects priorities develop production schedules for all projects.
  • Correlates project schedules to align with client forecasted master schedule.
  • Expedites deliverables and tasks that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports.
  • Performs other work-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.

BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of multiple projects scheduling Primavera P3 or P6 and Microsoft Projects software.
  • Knowledge of construction projects, resource loading, and staffing, including performing risk analysis and pinpointing scheduling conflicts in advance.
  • Ability to interact with all project stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills which enable to effectively liaise with clients, other departments within the organization, subcontractors, and clients, and report directly to the Senior Management.
  • Must be detail orientated and have good project management skills.

EDUCATION:

Must have at least Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Process) or equivalent is highly desired.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have at least 5-8 years of Planning and Scheduling experience to relevant industry preferably with Process Licensor.
  • Managing Client  and multiple projects to meet deadlines.
