About the team

You will be a part of a dynamic team that supports the business in Careem on planning topics. The role will require complete involvement in budgeting and target setting, and in directly managing the financial and operational data layer for the team. This role is accountable for Corporate Development, Investor Relations and Fundraising for Careem.

What you'll do

Corporate Development:

  • Undertake research and due diligence on potential investments 
  • Support the investment process from identification to closure 
  • Support with post-deal integration and / or portfolio management
  • Responsible for risk monitoring and red flag reporting across investments
  • Provide insights on local and global market activity 

Investor Relations:

  • Provide support with all investor communication materials and documents, including presentations, quarterly and monthly reports, information memos, etc.
  • Assist with fundraising process and development of investor roadshows 
  • Analyze and present financial and operational trends, competitive environment, and anything else that could impact the business

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Finance, Economics, Business Management, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Willingness and ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders within Careem
  • Ability to understand multiple sectors, businesses and functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
