The Role

You'll play a key role in building the company's cutting-edge, scalable, and resilient rewards system. Collaborating with a team of top-notch engineers, you'll tackle the challenges of an event-driven architecture, with a sharp focus on performance optimization, security, and the unique twists of web3 development.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable, event-driven architectures to enable efficient and secure rewards distribution
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure the rewards system operates seamlessly as the platform scales
  • Develop and test web3-integrated applications for the rewards system, including blockchain data reading, indexing, transaction execution, and automation tools
  • Maintain high standards of code quality and system resilience through rigorous testing and thorough documentation
  • Lead the full lifecycle of feature development, from initial planning and coding to integration and deployment
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain and elevate team standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth integration of new features and alignment on project objectives
  • Promote a culture of open communication and teamwork, supporting peers with project planning and workload distribution
  • Act as a technical leader, setting the bar for technical excellence and effective collaboration within the team

What You Bring to the Table

  • 6+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in web3
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript with solid architectural knowledge and a track record of producing high-quality code
  • Proficiency with testing tools and practices such as Hardhat, Jest, and Mocha
  • Extensive experience with web3 tools and scalability challenges related to EVM
  • High level of proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on experience in building large-scale architectures on EVM, such as indexers, monitoring tools, or event-driven systems
  • Contributions to open-source projects or experience with collaborative web3 initiatives
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools like Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform, along with experience in delivering major web3 projects
  • Low-ego, team-focused mindset with a commitment to collective success
  • Adaptability to navigate changes and manage expectations effectively
  • Strong communication skills to ensure clarity and foster team collaboration
