About the Role

The client is seeking a Digital Marketing Director to lead and execute a strategic vision for their digital presence. This is a leadership role that requires both high-level strategy and hands-on execution to scale their direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales while maintaining their brand integrity. You’ll oversee all aspects of digital marketing, from paid media and email campaigns to affiliate partnerships, SEO, and analytics. As part of a small but driven team, you’ll have the freedom to innovate and the responsibility to deliver results.

What you’ll do:

Digital Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across paid media, email marketing, social platforms, SEO, and affiliate programs.

  • Own the marketing funnel, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns that drive growth and revenue.

Performance Marketing:

  • Scale and optimize campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid platforms, achieving measurable ROI and increasing customer acquisition.

  • Build strategies for retargeting, lookalike audiences, and customer retention.

Email Marketing:

  • Leverage Klaviyo to design and manage email campaigns that increase engagement and drive repeat purchases.

  • Develop flows and automations to optimize customer journeys.

Affiliate & Collaborations:

  • Lead the growth of our affiliate program, building relationships with influencers and content creators to expand our reach.

  • Brand Collaborations: Seek opportunities to collaborate with other brands in the outdoor sector to grow brand recognition and create valuable partnerships.

SEO & Content Marketing:

  • Drive organic traffic through strategic SEO initiatives, including content creation and optimization.

  • Collaborate with the team on blog posts, landing pages, and other content efforts.

Analytics & Optimization:

  • Track, analyze, and report on KPIs to evaluate campaign performance and inform future strategies.

  • Continuously test, learn, and iterate to improve effectiveness across all channels.
