Your role in our mission
Develop your career as you support Gainwell’s focus on creating innovative, purpose-built technologies and solutions to deliver better health and human services outcomes.
- Experience in SQL Server 2008\2012 is mandatory. Should be able to write complex stored procedures and functions.
- Optimize long running queries using tuning advisor and Execution plan. Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services, Performance Tuning etc.,
- Utilizes database security regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Build reporting deliverables using SSRS or Power BI using SQL Scripts.
- Participates in analysis and development of tasks related to business report requirements.
- Utilizes best practices, checklists and defined processes.
- Participates in data analysis for required database objects.
- Strong architectural and design skills with experience implementing various design patterns and frameworks.
- Strong debugging skills and able to identify and fix the issues/bugs identified in the Stored Procedure.
- Should know about Error Handling.
- Work experience in Agile projects.
What we're looking for
6+ years of SQL Server Development experience with SQL Server 2008/2012. Additional experience required includes:
- Previous experience with healthcare systems.
- Ability to write complex stored procedures and functions.
- Optimize long running queries using tuning advisor and Execution plan
- SQL Server Analysis Services, Performance Tuning etc.,
- Utilizes database security regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Build reporting deliverables using SSRS or Power BI using SQL Scripts.
- Knowledge of technology architecture, the product development life cycle, cloud technologies, software as a service, and product and platform configurations.
- Strong skills using and manipulating relational databases, event subscription-based communication and software development skills between modules.
- Willingness to lead and take ownership over assigned work and to mentor more junior colleagues in-role.

The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
