In the department “Flight Production”, we are looking for a talented and dedicated Scrum Master to accompany our agile teams. 

 

Being part of an interdisciplinary team of agile professionals, architects and a quality expert, you will be the catalyst for the agile journey of two development teams. You also join our agile communities - supporting to spread agile throughout the company.

ABOUT THE JOB  

 

  • Continuously develop your Scrum teams, towards self-organization, sustainable high performance and their ability to delight our customers with high quality solutions.   
  • Be role model for practicing an agile mind set and promote transparency in terms of impediments, agile maturity, overall team health – including delivery capacity and agile metrics. 
  • Ensure a clear and shared understanding of agile roles, responsibilities, principles and values in your area of responsibility.  
  • Support and coach the Development Team and Product Owner in practicing their roles. 
  • Team-up with the line managers for regular Team Health Checks. 
  • Identify, de-escalate and resolve conflicts. Coach conflict resolution and Nonviolent Communication. 
  • Facilitate and further develop agile ceremonies, e.g. Product Backlog Refinement, Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective. 
  • Support the Product Owner community and facilitate their working sessions. 
  • Creatively support the scaling efforts within our department, given your talents and development aspirations. 

 

ABOUT YOU 

 

  • You have a degree in a relevant technical, business, psychological or social study with relevant technical know-how or comparable expertise acquired on-the-job. 
  • You have very good knowledge of agile working methods and frameworks (e.g. Kanban, Scrum, OKR, XP) and experience in implementing these. 
  • You master moderation, facilitation, presentation, visualisation techniques and feedback methods.  
  • You have exceptionally good social skills with high resilience and ability to resolve conflicts, reach consensus and build trust, remotely. 
  • You have very good teaching and coaching skills – on team as well as individual level. 
  • You have experience in building and developing teams in an international, intercultural and remote setting. 
  • You have experience in supporting organisational change initiatives on different levels. 
  • Ideally, you have good experience in scaled agile environments, working with Product Owner, management or leadership communities. 
  • Languages: fluent English.
  • Certifications: Scrum Master certification or comparable agile certifications desirable.
  • System/software expertise: Jira, Confluence, Miro and MS Office desirable.
