Job description

 

The Manager, International Ops will be responsible to lead, develop and manage the international operations & expansion effort. This role will strategically plan, and monitor the day-to-day international operations team, as well as collaborate cross functionally, to ensure timely, accurate, responsible performance. They will also oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.  Serving as a mentor, they will provide opportunities for employee professional development and building departmental bench strength.

 

Reports to: VP Sourcing Operations

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•            Define, clarify and develop a framework for International operations standards and regulations; set and manage expectations for cross functional alignment; be a resource dedicated to ensuring transparency, communication, and collaboration

•            Support LATAM/APAC distribution by optimizing business processes and standardizing operations

•            Develop and execute comprehensive international expansion strategies in alignment with the Brand organization's overall business goals.

•            Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors to identify potential risks

•            Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges

•            Build and establish a process for new/exit of international customers

•            Collaborate with and educate LATAM/APAC Sales and Specialist teams, and other external/internal partners, on new policies

•            Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of international operations.

•            Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and achieve cost savings

•            Identify opportunities for innovation and technological advancements in international operations

•            Ownership to build, maintain, and distribution of seasonal operational guides

Qualifications:

Experience:

•            7+ years’ experience in sales operations, process management, or similar role

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•            Extensive working knowledge of NAM wholesale operations, sales, and policies

•            Knowledge of international transportation, distribution, banking, legal requirements, import/export processes, and cultural requirements

 

Education:

•            B.S./B.A. in Business Administration, Management, or International Business, or similar experience
