We are looking for a data architect specializing in public cloud services who wants to be part of Tietoevry Create. Tietoevry Create is the leading digital accelerator for innovation and sustainable value creation. We combine business design with software engineering to bring digital business to life. 

We are a global team providing services to many business areas, specialized in the industrial sector. Our experienced data professionals design and implement wide range of solutions including cloud data platforms, data warehousing, data analysis and data strategy. Our team has a strong culture of collaboration and mentoring for continuous learning on the newest methods and technologies.

When joining Tietoevry Create as a Cloud Data Architect

  • You join a skilled data team of various skills where you learn new things with your colleagues 

  • You collaborate with the our sales and customer to understand business requirements

  • You develop data environments as a part of our data team in various customer projects.

Who we are looking for

In order to succeed in this role, you should have:  

  • Strong experience of public cloud environments,  especially icrosoft Azure

  • Professional design and development experience in data centric solutions

  • Experience of working with cloud data environments like data lakes, data warehouses or data lakehouses . And experience in combining old data warehouses with the new cloud datalakes.

  • Hands-on experience in some of the following data technologies:  primarily related cloud native tools of Azure (e.g., Synapse, Fabric, Data Factory), but also Databricks, Snowflake, AWS (e.g, Athena, Glue, Redshift, EMR).

  • Hands-on experience in data related development with programming languages like Python, SQL or similar

  • Excellent communication skills in English

Moreover, it would be great if you have additionally understanding on the following topics:

  • Development in agile or DevOps manner

  • Infrastructure as code (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi or similar)

  • Data integration and pipeline tools like Apache Airflow, dbt Cloud or Apache Kafka
