The Opportunity:

The Digital Strategy Group (DSG) EMEA is field’s strategic advisory team that shapes Adobe’s industry vision through strategic advisory to drive transformative customer experiences and create meaningful business value. We help sales teams engage our customers’ C-Suite and build compelling cases for transformation with Adobe.  We do this through:

Evangelism: Evangelise Adobe’s multi-cloud vision to inspire transformation with Adobe.

Vision Setting: Co-create customers’ industry leading north star experiences and capabilities.

Capability Mapping: Justify transformation by identifying gaps and  prioritising capabilities.

Value Analysis: Showcase the value at stake, the benefits and the risks of not acting now.

What You’ll Do:

As a Practice Lead, you will be part of the DSG leadership team, helping define the vision for DSG, coordinate the retail & consumer industry ecosystem, and a manage a European wide team. It will be your responsibility to bring the best out of a high-performing team to provide customers with strategic, industry-specific advisory on their digital transformation and apply a customer-centric, consultative selling approach to transformational deals. You will evangelise Adobe’s industry-specific visions and collaborate on functional thought leadership to establish Adobe as an integral partner and industry expert. You will work with your team on 1:1 customer engagements, collaborating with the field, to build compelling cases for transformation with Adobe and sell larger more transformational deals.

Key responsibilities include:

People Management and Talent Development: Create an environment for the team to thrive, where people can be their authentic selves for the benefit of our business and culture.

Team Prioritisation: Identify the right opportunities for the team to support manage the pipeline accordingly.

Engagement Delivery: Lead and advice on complex customer-specific engagements and coach team on how to be customer centric, address business needs, and drive results.

Thought Leadership: Co-develop industry-specific thought leadership and lead 1-to-many events.

DSG Advocacy and Ecosystem Alignment: Build relationships with the wider Adobe ecosystem to ensue DSG is viewed as an integral partner of the field with which teams look for advice and collaboration.

Raising the Bar: Drive a culture of high expectations and accountability to help raise Adobe’s standards and ensure Adobe operates at the highest level.

What you need to succeed:

  • People Management: Experience building, leading, and mentoring a high performing team.

  • Industry Expertise: Substantial experience across at least two verticals in Retail, Luxury, Consumer Goods, or Travel & Hospitality

  • Digital Marketing / Technology: Familiarity with digital marketing and customer experience strategy and execution, alongside a high-level understanding of the technologies and tactics needed for execution.

  • Executive Presence: Outstanding executive presence and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives.

  • Go To Market: Experience in developing GTM strategies and creating value propositions based on customer needs.

  • Analytical and Problem Solving Skills: Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analysing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations.

  • Desire to Learn: High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly.

  • Flexibility & Travel: Willingness to work with multiple time zones and travel up to 50%.
