Job Summary:
Geisinger is seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physician for a senior care opportunity in northeast Pennsylvania.
Job Duties:
The skilled nursing facility-based physician is a Geisinger employee, working in a non-Geisinger facility. The physician will collaborate with Geisinger advanced practitioners and facility staff to ensure patients are appropriately managed in the sub-acute and/or long-term care setting. The physician provides direct (hands-on) care, with a goal to improve quality and prevent unnecessary re-admissions to the acute care setting. The locations include: Embassy of Wyoming Valley, Wilkes Barre, Embassy of Scranton, Scranton, and Oak Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Scranton

- Compensation - Physicians with at least two years of experience start at a base salary of $257k
