About the role
In coordination with the Marketing and Architecture Teams, you will propose and implement systems and technology plans, architectures, and standards to meet the company's strategic goals. You will develop and maintain architectures, models, standards, and strategic orientations to support the company's plans and objectives. This role involves collaborating with team members on various projects and assisting in the implementation of standards for personnel executing these plans.
This role requires hands-on experience in SFMC development and administrative work, as well as responsibility for SFMC usage, strategy, design, development, and implementation of current and future solutions.
This position requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to effectively support and guide the company's digital marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Solution Definition: Facilitate solution definition within project teams.
- Product Selection: Participate in selecting new digital products or technologies.
- Standards Development: Collaborate on the development of standard patterns and configurations.
- Architecture Management: Manage and develop architecture for team projects and initiatives.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Identify deficiencies in the current digital marketing solution portfolio.
- Consultation: Advise on digital marketing and infrastructure development projects.
- Documentation: Define and document digital marketing application architectures.
- Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to development teams.
- Collaboration: Work with business constituents and IT teams to fulfill responsibilities.
- Integration Solutions: Develop integration solutions for API and ETL applications.
- Salesforce Configuration: Hands-on development/configuration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
You have:
- Salesforce Certification: Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Administrator, and Marketing Cloud Consultant.
- Architecture Knowledge: Experience in various architecture types (e.g., digital marketing, service-oriented, event-driven, application, distributed, data architecture).
- Technical Skills: Strong background in platforms, languages, protocols, frameworks, open source, etc.
- Architecture Frameworks: Experience with TOGAF and other architecture certifications is a plus.
- Engagement: Experience supporting digital marketing teams.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate and mentor within a team environment.
- Business Understanding: Knowledge of the insurance business (policy, billing, claims, etc) or willingness to learn.
- Communication Skills: Open and transparent communicator.
- Proactive and Organized: Driven by challenges and results.
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of security best practices.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in an evolving technological environment.
- Leadership: Demonstrates leadership and team collaboration.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with english speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
