If you share this vision, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity with us: the role of Field Premium Audit Manager.  This will be a remote position and can be located anywhere in California.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Oversees employees in the functions of Premium Audit.
  • Ensures that calculations for risks are accurate.
  • Leads efforts to validate that the correct classes are being applied and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Conducts premium audits and participates in or perform tours of the insured’s premises.
  • Ensures audit results are reviewed with insureds, underwriters, and producers and that discrepancies are resolved.
  • Ensures that employee coding is consistent/accurate.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of rules and regulations applicable to jurisdictions and ensures correct and consistent application.
  • Sets standards for the provision of Customer Service throughout the discovery, updating, and/or correction process.
  • Responsible for performance and coaching of staff and decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management.  Ensures new members of the team receive proper training.
  • Ensures that the team meets performance targets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, 5- 8 years of premium audit experience with a focus on workers’ compensation.
  • 1 to 3 years of leadership experience.  Associates in Premium Audit Program (APA) certification preferred.

Salary Range:

$116,000.00 -$157,000.00

Compensation varies by role, position level, and location. Individual pay is influenced by skills, education, training, certifications, experience, and the role's scope and complexity, along with business needs.
