Join our dynamic team as an IT Project Manager, where you’ll play a vital role in planning, executing, and delivering IT projects of varying complexity. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in IT project management and strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success through effective planning, coordination, and communication.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement standardized project plans aligned with organizational goals, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate project activities, manage timelines, and oversee milestones for successful delivery.
  • Conduct weekly touchpoints and provide detailed status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Continuously improve IT project management processes and best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external partners to gather and clarify project requirements.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate project teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Mentor junior team members to support their growth and professional development.

Risk Management

  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • Perform regular risk reviews to ensure continuous oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance

  • Establish and uphold quality standards for project deliverables.
  • Conduct regular reviews to assess and enhance project outcomes.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and share comprehensive project status updates with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including plans, requirements, design documents, and issue logs.

Client Communication

  • Build and maintain positive client relationships through consistent communication and updates.
  • Address client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with deliverables.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years in IT project management roles.
  • Preferred background in IT consulting roles or projects overseeing IT consulting engagements.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification (if currently not held, will be obtained within six months, course provided by Flycast)
