Commercial Solar Electrical Design Engineer - Dynamic Energy

Responsibilities:

Dynamic Energy Solutions, LLC has an opening for a full-time Commercial Solar Electrical Design Engineer in Philadelphia, PA Job Duties are to implement updated pricing sheets for Electrical Equipment and quantify the cost aspect of designs; Resolve Technical Issues from Early Stage Development thru Construction & O&M; Generate accurate buildable drawings; Assist design team in helping obtain goal and process; Perform SKM Modeling/Arc Flash Studies; Evaluate designs for NEC code compliance; Calculate technical design needs such as conductor ampacity, voltage drop, equipment sizing and production; Draw line diagrams and system component designs in AUTOCAD. Will supervise Electrical and Electronic Drafters.  

Requires a Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Electrical and Power System Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or in a field closely related to Electrical Engineering discipline plus 3 years experience in position offered or in engineering occupation/role in or related to Electrical and Power System Engineering. Special Skills Required: 3 years of experience working with or in the following:  Modeling software ETAP & PSCAD,  production modeling software PVSYT,  using AutoCAD, working on a Commercial and Utility Scale solar project.  Remote working/Telecommuting benefits allowed from anywhere within USA.   Email resumes to : pattern.recruitment@patternenergy.com
