Save My Exams is a rapidly growing EdTech business on the lookout for an ambitious Senior I&A Analyst to join our team. You will work closely with leaders of the business to help us understand our data and leavers for growth.

The Role
The Senior I&A Analyst will work closely with the leaders in the business to drive positive change. They will work across all areas where the company can use insights and analytics to make recommendations that drive value for our users and for the business. This means:
- Ensuring all teams have the data (and understanding of that data needed) to drive business decisions
- Supporting with the setting, measuring and continued assessing of input metrics, outcome metrics and other company KPIs
- Ensuring we use ROI as a measure to assess our investments
- Providing hypothesis and recommendations from data analysis
- Consulting on applications of data in business decisions
Your Responsibilities:
Over the next 12 months, you’ll:
- Enable all teams to access data in a format that supports self-analysis.
- Consult on applications of data to decision-making across all company teams as well as defining and maintaining best practice in data analysis work.
- Support in the setting of KPIs and Input and Outcome Metrics across the company.
- Have an expert understanding of our data and how it relates to company strategy. Use this to ensure that KPIs are focused on key drivers of success
- Be an expert in the Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control model used by Save My Exams to set, iterate on and improve performance on input metrics
- Consult with teams when they are deciding on metrics and own any data work involved in the visibility of these metrics
Requirements
Hopefully, you’ll have some or all of the following:
- Experience with high transaction volume B2C businesses with global user base, Ed tech/Subscription/Content
- Significant experience with hands-on data analysis and experience with managing expectations across functions
- Experience with multiple types of analysis across functions
- ROI analysis particularly within a content business
- Experience with product analysis such as retention, conversion funnels, and user behaviour
- Experience executing/analysing A/B and multivariate testing
- Comfortable with data engineering, including setting up and managing CDPs, data warehouses and data pipelines
- Expertise using SQL to extract, clean, and transform data
- Collaborative mindset, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise takeaways
- Willing to roll up your sleeves and perform tasks independently
Some extra skills and experiences that would be great:
- Experience in Management Consultancy and previous BI experience in a data-driven company
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel, SQL and other programming languages
- Experience executing A/B and multivariate testing and relevant tools
- Experience working with Tableau and other event based tools and analytic platforms (e.g Amplitude)
- Experience working with R, Python, or other statistical software
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- 4- 5 years experience
