Our expert-backed questions, games and quizzes are designed to improve key relationship skills in just a few minutes each day. Because we know: The journey of love evolves beyond the initial spark - with beautiful moments but also a lot of challenges.

Work Setup And Compensation

• Freelance: Fully remote, reporting to our Content Lead Tamsin
• Schedule: 3 days per week 
• Rate: £350 - £400 per day 
• Contract length: Immediately to August 31, 2025

About The Role

We’re seeking a freelance content writer and editor to create engaging and research-backed relationship content for the Paired app that brings couples closer together.

You’ll work closely with our in-house editorial team, product managers, and creative marketing team to build content our couples love, trust and rely on.

What The Role Encompasses

• Research, write and edit engaging relationship content (questions, quizzes, games, and exercises) that brings couples closer together
• Deliver engaging in-app content that is fact-checked, accurate, and inclusive, with minimal revisions required
• Use content management systems to upload and QA content and schedule ahead of time
• Work with relationship experts (in-house and external) on long-form content and key projects
• Review AI-generated content for quality and editorial excellence

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional working experience in an editorial role

• Experience in writing, commissioning, and editing content on topics such as relationships, intimacy and sex, health, wellness, well-being, and lifestyle
• Experience working for market-leading digital health or lifestyle apps/platforms is a huge advantage
• Fluency in English, along with impeccable grammar, spelling, and editorial skills
• Proficient in using content management systems
• Ability to produce excellent copy with attention to detail under tight deadlines
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to receiving and sharing feedback on editorial content
• Strong interest in relationship science and a genuine enthusiasm for creating content related to relationships, intimacy, and sexuality
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with a range of stakeholders
• You are a resident of the UK, legally entitled to work as a freelancer, and comfortable with remote work
