Join Our Dynamic Team as a Security Engineer at Deepki.
Deepki, leading the way in ESG SaaS for real estate owners and accelerating the transition towards net zero and sustainability.

As part of our mission to support the construction and industry sectors in their transition to zero carbon, we are excited to announce an opening for a Security Engineer.

Your role

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will take part in an adventure in a hyper-growth company that is ISO 27001 certified and a world leader in its field.

You will play a central role in the continuous improvement of Deepki's security observability and monitoring systems and processes and becoming the technical reference point for our Managed SOC.

Your Missions

As a Security Engineer, you will:

  • Manage relationships between the outsourced SOC provider and Deepki from the initial vendor selection to deployment and integration into our existing infrastructure.

  • Update the configuration of our existing internal tools (EDR, CASB, AWS cloudwatch…)

  • Establish threat intelligence sources to complete the outsourced SOC management, create dedicated IOC and dashboard to detect more.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop robust incident response plans and protocols, ensuring swift and effective response to security incidents.

  • Improve our security observability & monitoring systems and processes.

  • Participate in the evaluation of security policy applications within Deepki.

Your Environment

In a rich and complex environment, you will work with experts who are passionate about both technical and functional issues (developers, Service Reliability Engineer, project managers, product owners, IT team, etc.).

Technical environment:

You will take place in a Full SaaS environment including :

  • AWS

  • Security Operation Center Tools

  • Endpoint Detection & Response

  • MacOS

  • Google Workspace

  • Cloud Access Security Broker


Security compliance environment:

  • ISO27001:2017

  • ISAE 3000 Type II

  • SOC 2 Type II (On going)


Your Skills:

Here are the skills we expect from you:

You are a System Administrator or SOC Analyst with solid experience (5 years minimum).

Must-have skills

  • Experience in securing cloud environments (AWS, Google Workspace) and familiarity with cloud-native security tools and services

  • In-depth knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EPP, antivirus, etc.

  • Proficient of network protocols, operating systems, security architectures and API security.

  • Scripting and Automation Skills - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g Python, bash) and experience in automating security processes and workflows

  • Threat hunting abilities - Experience in proactive threat hunting activities, including the use of advanced threat detection techniques and tools

  • Fluency in technical English and ability to draft procedures in this language


Nice to have skills

  • Ability to speak in public at internal meetings

  • Penetration testing skills

  • Security governance frameworks such as ISO 27001, CIS, NIST…

  • Experience with MacOS and Linux environment

  • Familiar with hyper-growth environment
