We are looking for a Director, Commercial Excellence and Capability Development. As the Director of Commercial Excellence and Capability Development, you will be the thought leader that translates enterprise ambition, strategy, and priorities into actionable plans for your team.
Location:
This position will be located at the Miami, FL site. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.
Role:
You will be responsible for managing a team of 15, ensuring they uphold their accountabilities and achieve success. This role is accountable for three core areas Sales Training, Commercial Operations, and Commercial Innovation/Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Attracting, mentoring, and leading a high-performing team.
- Ensuring strong enterprise strategy and delivery of all aspects of the Company Sales Manager and Representative Training.
- Upholding and running a robust Commercial/Sales Operations team.
- Leading Commercial Innovation and acting as product owners for technologies such as the Veeva CRM system.
- Serving as the enterprise lead for all Sales Rewards and Recognition programs.
- Facilitating Cross-BU discussions and alignment for major projects.
- Championing Compliance across key processes run by the team.
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry with a strong track record in Sales.
- Demonstrated evidence in leading, driving, and delivering cross-organization change programs.
- Proven people management skills with the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal skills with respect to relationship building, influencing, negotiating, and teamwork.
- Resilient and energized by working in complexity, agile and adaptable to changes.
- Strategic thinking ability with strength in articulating new models and business concepts.
- Highly skilled at generating a common agenda across Sales teams and BUs.
- High degree of initiative and capacity to lead multiple priorities.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of Contracting and Contract drafting/interpretation of language experience.
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry and trends experience is highly preferred.
- Exceptional ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa.

Salary & Compensation:
$198,800 and $226,700/year.
