About the Role

Are you passionate about using data and AI to create transformative solutions? Join our team as a Data Scientist and help revolutionize the legal industry. Based in Austin, Texas, were building an AI-powered platform that analyzes verbal and non-verbal communication to support lawyers in making smarter, data-driven decisions.

What You'll Do

• AI Model Development: Design and deploy cutting-edge machine learning models using GPT and other advanced AI frameworks to analyze complex communication patterns.
• Data Pipeline Optimization: Build and optimize data pipelines using Python and Modal, ensuring efficient processing and analysis of large datasets.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.
• Innovate & Experiment: Explore novel AI methodologies and tools to improve the platforms capabilities and deliver value to users.
• Deliver Insights: Generate actionable insights from verbal and non-verbal data to enhance decision-making for legal professionals.

What Were Looking For

• AI Expertise: Experience working with GPT models and other natural language processing (NLP) frameworks.
• Python Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python with experience in data science libraries and frameworks.
• Cloud & Deployment: Familiarity with Modal or similar platforms for deploying and managing machine learning workflows.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to tackle complex challenges and implement creative, data-driven solutions.
• Time Zone Compatibility: Availability to work with at least 5 hours of overlap with Austin, Texas (CST) during regular business hours.
• Good level of English: you will be working with the English-speaking team.
