Job Description:
We are looking for a Ratings Editor. This pivotal role connects our ratings analysis with our customers and users. They will sit in our editorial team within the wider ratings team, working closely day-to-day with our team of carbon ratings scientists.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining and improving written editorial standards of our ratings analysis
Updating reports and analysis from early launch
Identifying key pieces of analysis and the conclusions our Ratings team are drawing to ensure clear and effective communication to customers (who often are unfamiliar with carbon credits)
Copy editing and line-editing reports and other external communications
Partnering closely with the Ratings team to ensure the development of clear and accurate writing. This will include:
You will be our ideal candidate if:
You are comfortable editing scientific and technical text and distilling complex ideas into approachable copy
You have first-rate communication and relationship management skills, with experience using these with stakeholders from various backgrounds
You are highly analytical and attentive to detail
