About the role
We are looking for a Manager of Software Development, Shared Services, to join our growing team!
Your mission:
- Develop productive and engaged software development teams, fostering the development of personal and technical skills, as well as collaboration.
- Collaborate and support all teams working on the delivery of projects in a large-scale portfolio.
- Take ownership for delivery and improvements in practice, processes, governance, etc.
- Understand business needs and ensure technology can meet the viability of products.
- Provide clear and effective communications regarding technical improvements.
- Cultivate change and initiate innovation.
- Master all the facets of software development.
- Remain on the lookout for new technologies and question the status quo.
- Master Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile development and ensure that processes and tools are well adapted.
You are:

- Bilingual (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in resource management and project management.
- Solid experience in delivering products in Agile/Scrum mode in software engineering.
- Experience with object-oriented development and software debugging.
- Experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and DevSecOps.
- Experience in continuous delivery management.
- Experience in scaling agility with multiple agile teams (Scaled Agile).
- No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
