By joining our team, you'll be at the heart of this mission, helping us continuously improve our offerings to enhance the experiences of both patients and practices.
We are a remote-first company with no physical offices, allowing our employees the flexibility to work from anywhere. We are looking for a highly skilled IT Security Engineer with hands-on expertise in SentinelOne and NinjaRMM to manage the security and patching of end-user devices for our fully remote workforce. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in endpoint security, patch management, and remote support while ensuring smooth user experience with tools like Google Workspace and Slack. This role involves both security management and workplace services, addressing the challenges of distributed teams across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Continuously monitor security alerts from SentinelOne, investigate potential threats, and implement mitigation strategies to prevent security incidents.
  • Device Management: Ensure consistent management of devices across the organization by using NinjaRMM for software updates, remote support, and troubleshooting for end-user devices.
  • User Support and Workplace Services: Collaborate with the workplace services team to provide remote IT support to users, ensuring they have access to the tools and resources needed to remain productive in a secure environment. This includes onboarding and offboarding users using Google Workspace and Slack.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of security incidents, patch updates, and device compliance, providing regular reports to leadership on the security status of all managed devices.
  • Collaboration Tools Security: Ensure that Google Workspace and Slack environments are integrated with security best practices, monitoring for potential risks and ensuring secure access.
  • Security Policies and Best Practices: Work with IT leadership to develop, refine, and implement security policies for endpoint devices, ensuring these policies are aligned with company and regulatory requirements for remote work.
  • Training and User Education: Provide ongoing training and education to remote users on security best practices, including safe use of company devices, phishing prevention, and data protection protocols.

  • Requirements:
  • Education: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SentinelOne Certified, or similar are a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SentinelOne for endpoint security and NinjaRMM for remote monitoring, patch management, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of security principles in remote work environments, with experience managing a globally distributed team of end users.
  • Proven experience supporting a Google Workspace and Slack environment, with an emphasis on integrating security protocols and policies into these platforms.
  • Experience managing endpoint security, patch management, and monitoring in both Windows and macOS environments..
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across time zones and geographies.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and drive decision-making processes.
