Job description

Genesis10 is seeking a SQL Server DBA for a 7- month remote contract position with a leading client in Columbus, OH. This role pays $72.50 /hour W2 based on experience.

Job Duties:

Responsible for providing DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for the multiple mainframe DB2 Databases.
Ensure best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth.
Additional knowledge in relational databases is highly recommended as they will be helping to migrate mainframe data to newer relational databases.
Work with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met.
Support approximately 10 database applications.

Requirements:

9+ years experience
4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
SQL Server DBA certification is preferred
ODJFS experience
